This quaint river town has tons to offer. Grab lunch at the Watershed Café, take a scenic ride on the Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway, and splash in Cascade Falls. Whether your stop is an hour or an entire day, you will find plenty to enjoy.
Stillwater
If Huck Finn were a Minnesotan, he would hail from Stillwater. Founded in 1848, this river town has it all – restaurants, shopping, scenery and yes, even a few abandoned bootleggers’ caves.
Lindstrom / Chisago Lakes
This chain of small towns surrounded by water is located about halfway between Minneapolis on Nordlys. Stop in Lindstrom and snap a photo with the famous Lindstrom tea kettle water tower, then stop by a realtor’s office because this town is so cute you might just want to stay.
From Madison, Milwaukee & Chicago
With most of our great state of Wisconsin between Nordlys and these cities, this list could probably fill a book. Here are just a few of our favorites along the I-90/94 corridor.
