“Beautiful”

We had the most magical time at this beautiful Airbnb! The home itself is stunning—every corner feels cozy, welcoming, and perfectly designed for both relaxation and fun. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or stargazing at night, nature wraps around you in the best way. There were so many outdoor activities to keep us entertained—we were never bored for a second. The activity hut was such a unique touch, and the sauna? Pure bliss after a day outside. We also loved the incredible kitchen—fully stocked with everything you could dream of for cooking up amazing meals. And don’t even get me started on the bathrooms—like a mini spa experience every time. This place has a special kind of energy. Peaceful, fun, and full of magic.

“Remarkable”

There aren’t enough characters available in this description box for me to rave about how remarkable this place is. The attention to detail, amenities, view, and accommodations are beyond expectations and the host was thoughtful, attentive, and didn’t leave a single detail out. Everything felt like we were at the resort of our dreams and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We were so sad to leave and are already planning our next trip here. Absolutely wonderful.

“Amazing”

We stayed in the MetalLark. It was amazing! Nordlys thought of everything. Very informative on everything we needed to know. The property is so beautiful. We saw so much wildlife and hiked lots of trails on their property. It felt like we were hiking in a State Park. We also enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks on the large pond. The outdoor sauna felt wonderful as well as the outdoor hot tub that uses fire wood to heat. Sitting in both while enjoying the view!!! Spectacular! A campfire by the pond at night was a great way to end the nights. We can’t wait to come back!!!

“Spectacular”

This is a spectacular getaway. Our favorite things at LongHouse in no particular order were: wood fired hot tub, sauna, cold plunge water bucket between sauna sessions, porch with view, kitchen setup (cooking & grilling amazing food purchased locally), pedal boat rides around the lake, walking trails, bedroom amenities, fireplaces for ambiance, the spectacular lake views from anywhere in the house were always prominent, the piano, the lighting on the galley walkway/boardwalk, the design and architecture of the house, rooflines and landscaping is perfection. We will be back to LongHouse, and soon to be our first stay at Metalark Tower in the Winter to experience the Cedar and Stone sauna surrounded by snowscapes.

“Phenomenal”

Our stay at Nordlys was phenomenal. It is on the short list for my favorite spots I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit. We shopped for supplies the day of check-in, and didn’t leave the property until check-out. Jeffrey and the team were very proactive and responsive from the moment we booked. We enjoyed snow tubing, hiking numerous trails, bird watching, meditating in nature and enjoying the pure bliss of disconnecting from hustle and bustle. The interior space was pristine, and the entire property was nothing short of spectacular. If you are at all on the fence, book now! No chance you’ll regret this getaway.

“Like No Other”

Staying at Nordly’s MetalLark cabin was a stay like no other. I had this cabin on my list for a long time but it was always booked, I finally had some luck and found a few days in October. Here you’ll find peace as well as adventure. We loved seeing the sunrises and sunsets and enjoyed biking around the trails and taking the paddle boat out for a ride on the lake. Thank you Nordlys for curating such a great place to retreat.

“Stunning”

This cabin is an absolutely stunning design. The outdoor glass sauna and wood fired hot tub are so luxurious and relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with quality kitchen tools. The ben and bath linens are quality and cozy. There’s so much to do on the property to keep you occupied. Absolutely would recommend – I plan to return myself!

“Six Stars”

Where do I start…. (1) If I could give them a 6 out of 5 I would because the place was incredible; (2) Perfect synergy of attention to detail with the interior furnishings and the home design; (3)Location, location, location. Simply beautiful; (4) Outdoor amenities: trails, water (paddle boat), fire pit, etc. (5) Atta-boy rating! This is someone who has a great product but continues to strive for excellence. “Restorative”

Restorative stay! We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Watching the wildlife from our elevated deck each morning and evening was a highlight. Great paths to hike and run. The paddle boat on the pond was great for a picnic lunch. The sauna and outdoor soaking tub was amazing. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare full meals. Everything mechanical inside had helpful and easy to follow directions.

“Relaxing”

If you’re looking for an upscale getaway in a remote location, private and full of outdoor activities…this is a must. Wildflower pastures, hiking/biking trails, beautiful lake, tons of wildlife, sauna, hot tub, paddle boat, kayaks, etc. The Tower is absolutely stunning perched over the field/lake with floor to ceiling windows on both floors and a walkout for morning coffee with the chipmunk or a late night cocktail with fireflies. So peaceful and relaxing here with no traffic noise or light pollution at night. This location has everything you need. Nearby towns have shopping and eateries, including a fabulous cheese bistro in Grantsburg. Jeff was great with his communication and instructions for the Tower and property. Highly recommend!
